Rogue Tactics

Subtle Fighting

You fight using underhand strikes that give you the upper hand. Subtle fighting tactics give you the following abilities:

  • Blind Toss. You can use a bonus action to make a ranged attack with a small, thrown weapon. On a hit, this attack deals an extra 1d6 damage and your next attack before the end of your turn has advantage against the target. Using this bonus action reduces your sneak attack dice pool by 2d6. You cannot use this bonus action on a turn if you have already used your sneak attack special attack.

  • Bluff. When you use your sneak attack against a target within 5 feet of you, you can reduce your sneak attack dice pool by 2d6 and forgo making the attack. Instead, you can have one of your allies within 5 feet of the target make an attack with advantage against the target as a reaction. Your ally adds your sneak attack dice pool to the attack’s damage roll.

  • Distract. When you use your sneak attack, you can reduce the sneak attack dice pool by 2d6. If you do so, you can move up to 15 feet immediately after making the sneak attack without provoking opportunity attacks.
