Sorcerous Origin
Shadow Sorcery
You are a creature of shadow, for your innate magic comes from a realm of shadows. You might trace your lineage to an entity from that place, or perhaps you were exposed to its fell energy and transformed by it.
Shadow manifestation spells
Shadow Magic
If you expend sorcery points to cast a spell from the shadow manifestation spell list, creatures who fail their saving throw against the spell are also frightened of you until the end of your next turn.
If you replace a spell from you manifestation spell list, the new spell must be an illusion or a necromancy spell from the arcane spell list.
Shadow Manifestation
Beginning from 3rd level, your shadow behaves strangely, it always seems slightly out of place or shape. Further, the power of shadow magic casts a strange pall over your physical presence. The spark of life that sustains you is muffled, as if it struggles to remain viable against the dark energy that imbues your soul.
You gain the following abilities:
Darkvision. You have darkvision with a range of 60 feet. Alternatively, if you have darkvision from another source, your darkvision increases by 30 feet.
Fear of the Dark. When you cast a spell, you can give one creature disadvantage on the saving throw if it is inside an area of darkness. You can only use this ability once between long rests, unless you spend 1 sorcery point to use it again.
Creeping Shadow
Beginning at 10th level, your darkvision increases by another 60 feet.
Also, you can target a creature you can see within 120 feet of you that is in dim light or darkness. When you do so, you immediately teleport to that creature and that creature becomes charmed and frightened of you for up to 1 minute. The creature can make a Wisdom saving throw at the end of each of its turns ending both conditions on a successful saving throw.
You can use this ability once between short or long rests.
Umbral Night
Beginning at 14th level, you can command the dark night.
As an action, you magically cause darkness to spread from a point you choose within sight to fill a 300-foot-radius sphere and dim light for another 100 feet for 1 hour, until you loose concentration (as if you were concentrating on a spell), or until you use a bonus action to end this effect. The darkness spreads around corners and through cracks and openings.
If any of this spell’s area overlaps with an area of light created by a spell of 5th level or lower, the spell that created the light is dispelled.
While inside this darkness, you are invisible.
Once you use this ability, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest, unless you spend 5 sorcery points to use it again.
