Primordial Psion

These sorcerers wield magic rooted in a primordial source, akin to ancient titans and mighty genies. Whether marked by powerful runes or descended from an elemental lord, they possess a natural affinity for bending and controlling the raw forces of creation.

Primordial manifestation spells

Primordial Magic

If you expend sorcery points to cast a spell from the elemental manifestation spell list, you can select a number of damage dice to reroll up to the level of the spell. You must use the new roll.

If you replace a spell from you manifestation spell list, the new spell must be an abjuration or evocation spell from the primal spell list.

Primordial Manifestation

Beginning at 3rd level, your body starts to take on noticeable features that give away your primordial heritage. Your body may be covered by ancient runes or turn hard as stone. Maybe your eyes burn with an inner fire and subtle gusts constantly blow around you.

You gain the following ability:

  • Elemental Mark. Immediately after you cast a spell, you can also place an elemental mark on one creature targeted by the spell. When you place the mark on a creature, select one of the following damage types: acid, bludgeoning, cold, fire, lightning, piercing, slashing, and thunder. The target either gets resistance to the chosen damage type or looses resistance to the chosen damage type (your choice) for up to 1 minute. The effect ends early when the target takes damage of the chosen type.

You can only use this ability once between long rests, unless you spend 1 sorcery point to use it again.

 

Primordial Prodigy

At 10th level, you can add five additional spells to you elemental magic spell list, one for each spell level 1 through 5. The spells you choose can come from any spell list and must deal one of the following types of damage: acid, bludgeoning, cold, fire, lightning, piercing, slashing, or thunder.

In addition, you can use you elemental mark feature up to three times between long rests before you have to use sorcery points on it.

 

Elemental Entropy

Beginning at 14th level, you can use a bonus action to unleash the primordial forces inside you to gain the following benefits for one minute:

  • You have a flying speed of 60 feet and can hover.

  • You have resistance to acid, bludgeoning, cold, fire, lightning, piercing, slashing, and thunder damage.

  • When you use sorcery points to cast an elemental magic spell, you reduce the cost by 1 point (to a minimum of 0).

Once you use this ability, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest, unless you spend 5 sorcery points to use it again.
