Transmutation

Transmutation magic alters the properties and nature of objects and creatures, changing their form, composition, or abilities.

Transmuter’s Stone

Starting at 3rd level, you can spend 8 hours creating a transmuter’s stone that stores transmutation magic.

You can benefit from the stone yourself or give it to another creature. A creature gains a benefit of your choice as long as the stone is in the creature’s possession.

When you create the stone, choose the benefit from the following options:

  • Attentive. The creature gains darkvision out to a range of 60 feet.

  • Fast. The creature’s speed increases by 10 feet while the creature is unencumbered.

  • Resilient. The creature’s armour class cannot be lower than 13 + Your Intelligence modifier.

  • Resistant. The creature has resistance to acid, cold, fire, lightning, poison or thunder damage (you can change this choice whenever you chose this benefit).

  • Restorative. The creature regains an additional 1d4 hit points whenever it receives magical healing.

Each time you cast a transmutation spell of 1st level or higher, you can change the effect of your stone if the stone is on your person.

If you create a new transmuter’s stone, the previous one ceases to function.

Transformist

Beginning at 10th level, you know the polymorph spell and you can cast it once between long rests without expending a spell slot.

When you cast polymorph on yourself, the spell does not require concentration and you retain your ability to speak, your alignment, personality, as well as your Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores. You also retain all your skills and saving throw proficiencies, in addition to gaining those of the template.
