Enchantment

Enchantment magic manipulates and influences the minds and emotions of others, compelling or charming them to act according to the caster’s will.

 

Mesmer

At 3rd level you learn how to charm people with the sound of your voice. As an action, target a creature within 30 feet that can hear you and understand you. The creature becomes charmed for 1 minute.

If you deal damage to the target or cast any spells on it, this charmed condition ends early, and the target is immune to the ability for 24 hours.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest, or you use a spell slot to cast an enchantment spell of 1st level or higher.

 

Convincing Charm

When a creature that is charmed by you within 30 feet of you makes an attack roll, you can use your reaction to divert the attack, provided that another eligible target is within the attack’s range. The attacker must make a Wisdom saving throw against your wizard spell save DC. On a failed save, the attacker must target the creature that is closest to it, not including you, itself or the original target. If multiple creatures are closest, the attacker chooses which one to target.
