Arcane Tradition
Court Wizard
A Court Wizard is a master of diverse arcane disciplines, serving as a trusted advisor in the halls of power. Adept in a broad range of magical arts, they offer guidance on mystical matters and political intrigue. Their broad knowledge of magic makes them a versatile and invaluable asset in any royal court.
Knowledgeable Advisor
When you become a court wizard, you gain proficiency in two additional skills of your choice.
Universalist
You can also add up to two 1st level ritual spells from any spell list to your spellbook as wizard spells.
Magic Ward
Beginning at 6th level, you can use your action to touch a willing creature other than yourself to give it advantage on saving throws against spells and magic effects. This ward lasts until the target successfully saves against a spell or until you use this feature again on another creature.
Supreme Wizard
Also beginning at 6th level, you gain the following abilities:
You learn counterspell and dispel magic and you always have them prepared.
Whenever you cast dispel magic you can cast it as a bonus action.
Archmage
Starting at 14th level, you have advantage on saving throws against magic and spells.
Furthermore, both you and the target of your magic ward feature have resistance against the damage of magic and spells.
