Fighter: Fighting Styles

You can adopt a particular style of fighting through rigorous training with weapons. You cannot select a fighting style option you already have, even if you later get to choose again. Each time you select a fighting style, you must select a fighting style you do not currently know.

 

Fighting styles

Polearm Master

You are skilled at fighting with polearm weapons, granting you the following benefits:

•          You treat versatile weapons that do not increase the weapon’s damage dice as if they have the long property.

•          While you are wielding a long weapon, hostile creatures provoke an opportunity attack from you when they enter your reach. You must make this special opportunity attack with a long weapon that you are wielding. On a hit, this attack is an automatic critical hit if the triggering creature has moved 30 feet or more on its turn.
