You weave together flickering threads of shadow to create an illusory knife of solid shadow in you hand. This weapon is a knife with the piercing weapon property and attacks with this weapon deals psychic damage instead of its normal damage.

While wielding the illusory knife, you can use an action to make a special attack with it; a shadow strike:

• Shadow Strike. This attack has advantage if it is made against a target that is in dim light or darkness. On a hit, this attack deals an additional 1d4 psychic damage.

When you use an action to make a shadow strike with this weapon, this spell immediately ends.

Cantrip Scaling. The additional psychic damage of the shadow strike increases by 1d4 when you reach 5th level (2d4), 11th level (3d4), and 17th level (4d4).
