Spell Description

The next time you attack a creature with a melee weapon before the end of your turn, your weapon glows with holy energy. You gain a bonus to your weapon attack roll equal to your spellcasting ability modifier.

On a hit, the attack deals an extra 2d8 radiant damage to the target. The damage increases by 1d8 if the target is an undead or a fiend.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the spell deals an additional 1d8 radiant damage on a hit for each slot level above 1st.
