Spell Description
You drain hope and dreams from living a creature you can see within range. The target must make a Charisma saving throw. The target takes 4d8 psychic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
You gain temporary hit points equal to the total damage dealt. If the target has any points of exhaustion or is bloodied, fatigued, or weakened, it has disadvantage on the saving throw. This spell has no effect if the target is a construct, plant, or undead.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the spell targets an additional creature for each two slot levels above 2nd. You add the damage together for each target when calculating the temporary hit points you gain from this spell.
