Spell Description
You touch one nonmagical object and animate it with a resemblance of live.
The animated servant is a Construct creature with 10 hit points, an AC of 10 and no bonus to any dice roll.
When you cast this spell, you instruct the construct servant with a general purpose for its existence (e.g. you could animate a broom and give it the purpose of keeping the library clean or a door to open up automatically and great visitors politely).
When you cast this spell, you can also have the construct sprouts arms and legs. Though the servant is not sentient or intelligent, it understands one language that you know. You may decide that the servant can also speak this language as part of its function (e.g. you could instruct a bust of yourself to greet people when you are not at home and relay messages from them to you when you return).
At any time, you can use a minute touching a servant you have created and change its general purpose. The servant cannot attack or harm other creatures.
When the servant drops to 0 hit points, it reverts to its original form, and any remaining damage carries over to that form.
