What is Deeper Dungeons?

Deeper Dungeons is the rules system I have developed for myself and my own gaming group. I have uploaded them to a website so you can get some use of them as well; because sharing is caring. This means that Deeper Dungeons is a collection of completely free rules for your D&D games (see the menu above).

The resources are based on the OGL of the D&D 5e rules under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.

Q: Is this game compatible with Dungeons and Dragons or any other d20 based game?

A: Yes. The rules are designed with the D&D OGL license. So, it is basically like DnD. That said. You do not need to use D&D 2014 or 2024 to play with these rules. The rules can be used as a supplement or replacement at your table.

Also, these game rules are compatible with any adventure module that is compatible with Dungeons and Dragons 5e.

Q: Why is it free?

A: Because you have enough expenses! Use you money on something important and your time on something nice! I made this for my friends. You are one of them now!

Q: Can I use this material with VTTs (like Roll20 or Foundry)?

A: Yes. It has so far been easy to use this system in place of the existing Dungeons and Dragons rules on those systems.

Q: Is that AI art?

A: Yes it is. Mostly as placeholder art that helps separate sections. It simply makes the website easier to navigate.
